This guide explains how to install SignOS Digital Signage step by step on professional Samsung Tizen displays using URL Launcher.
After turning on the display:
If a PIN is requested, the default PIN is 000000.
Press the HOME button on the remote and open the URL Launcher application from the main menu.
If URL Launcher is not visible, the device may be in MagicINFO mode. In that case, switch it to URL Launcher / Custom App mode first.
When the Play via screen appears, choose Custom App instead of MagicINFO.
After selecting it, continue with the Return button on the remote.
In the URL Launcher settings, open Install Web App and enter the following address:
https://signosds.com/samsung/
After entering the address, start the installation.
For SSSP5 and below, use the launcher at https://signosds.com/tizen5/.
The system automatically downloads and installs the SignOS Tizen Player. When installation is complete, the application starts automatically.
You may see the following message: Installation is complete. The web application will now start automatically.
When the player opens, use the on-screen Screen Code or Device ID to register the display from the SignOS management panel.
After registration is complete, your content starts playing automatically.
